Danet is a writer, illustrator and animator working out of Wilmington, North Carolina. She enjoys using her work to explore how people change the world as well as how the world can change them.
In the past, she has worked as a Lead Animator for the Visions Film Festival & Conference, a title animator and production designer for multiple short films and documentaries and as a director, animator and writer for her own independent films. Her most recent solo film, What Stays, a hand animated exploration of familial memories and identity, won an award for filmmaking at the Light & Future International Film Festival.
In July of 2019, she completed work as production designer and animator on the short film All Monsters are British.
