Danet is a writer, illustrator and animator working out of Wilmington, North Carolina. Much of her art focuses on personal memory and identity. She enjoys using her work to explore how people change the world as well as how the world can change them.
In the past, she has worked as a Lead Animator for the Visions Film Festival & Conference as well as title animator and production designer for multiple short films and documentaries. Most recently, her film, What Stays, a hand animated exploration of familial memories and identity, was accepted into the 2019 Indie Grits Film Festival.
